The department currently has three masters students continuing their studies. All three students graduated with honours degrees in Chemical Engineering in CIT in 2004. All of their projects are being carried out in pharmaceutical plants, solving real problems in industry, they are therefore getting ht ebenefit of further qualifications and very specialised experiance in industry. All three projects are all in the area of environmental engineering and waste reduction.

The projects are funded by the Environmental Protection Agency and run in conjunction with the Clean Technology Centre.

Maybe the best way to explain their projects is to let them do it themselves – here are presentations they gave at the European Round Table of Sustainability and Cleaner Production in Antwerp recently (More details on this in our news section).
