Diarmuid O’ Connor joined Eli Lilly in 1985 having completed his Chemical & Process Engineering degree at CIT. His first posting was as Process Engineer supporting production In 1991, he took responsibility for Project Engineering for the site and successfully implemented a number of technically challenging projects. Following a three year posting in Human Resources, Diarmuid was appointed Team Leader of Manufacturing and subsequently in 2002 he became Business Leader for Manufacturing.
